Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Remote Business Development Specialist to join our Responder Recruitment team. This position would help us attain first responder leads across the United States. 

This individual will have experience in both high-level business development and lead generation, with a unique background in sales for the policing or first responder industry. The role focuses on developing relationships with organizations that require strategic recruitment solutions, leveraging software tools to improve hiring processes and outcomes. A successful candidate will be someone who has business development experience specifically in the first responder industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify, pursue, and secure new clients, especially those in public safety, law enforcement, and related sectors.
  • Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate high-quality leads, including networking, cold outreach, and partnership development.
  • Consultative Sales: Conduct client needs assessments to identify and recommend recruitment marketing strategies, employer branding initiatives, and software tools that align with their talent acquisition goals.
  • Industry Expertise: Apply your knowledge and experience in policing to understand client challenges and offer tailored solutions that resonate with recruitment needs, especially in high-demand, hard-to-fill roles such as police officers and public safety professionals.
  • Business Development Planning: Ability to implement a business development strategy including proposal writing, lead generation initiatives, conference research and attendance, memberships, partnerships with stakeholders including educational institutions, and other initiatives as well as manage the leads using a CRM.
  • Recruitment Platforms: Have a basic understanding of social media platforms, Google network, job boards, digital marketing editorials, ad management, and fulfillment as they pertain to these platforms.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay current on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in recruitment marketing, employer branding, and recruitment technology to provide cutting-edge solutions for clients.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the rest of the Responder Recruitment team to align business development efforts with overall company goals. Must be able to ensure a seamless transition of notes to the dedicated Account Manager once a lead has been won.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven Track Record in Business Development: Demonstrated success in high-level business development, lead generation, and client acquisition.
  • Business Development Experience in Policing: Previous experience as a salesperson in the policing industry, a police officer or in a related law enforcement role who has business development experience is required, providing a deep understanding of the recruitment challenges in the field.
  • Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills: Ability to engage with C-suite and executive-level clients, presenting complex ideas clearly and negotiating contracts with confidence.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using CRM tools, marketing automation platforms, and recruitment software to manage leads, track progress, and report on success metrics.
  • Goal-Oriented & Self-Motivated: A self-starter with the ability to work independently, meet targets, and drive revenue growth.

Salary:

We offer an excellent benefits package with a starting salary plus commission.
Job Type: Full-time, remote
Pay: $60,000 U.S. per year, plus commission
