Position Overview
We’re seeking a self motivated and enthusiastic Remote Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone eager to grow their career in sales while contributing to the growth and continued success of Responder Recruitment and Haven. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with innovative recruitment solutions and leading-edge employer branding tools. The primary goal of the BDR is to build a strong pipeline of prospects and schedule introduction calls to help our sales team connect with potential clients across our target industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Research and identify potential clients across industries for Responder Recruitment and Haven, focusing on organizations with recruitment or training and compliance needs.
- Execute outreach campaigns through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other platforms to engage and qualify prospects.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads using CRM and sales tools.
Scheduling Introduction Calls:
- Communicate the value of our recruitment marketing services and the Haven platform to prospective clients.
- Schedule and coordinate introduction calls for senior sales team members or Department Directors.
Collaboration & Learning:
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align outreach strategies and improve engagement efforts.
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Data & Reporting:
- Accurately document outreach activities, lead details, and scheduled calls in the CRM system.
- Report on lead engagement metrics and progress toward pipeline goals.
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a passion for building relationships.
- Self-motivated and goal-driven, eager to develop in a sales role.
- Basic familiarity with CRM systems or sales automation tools is a plus (training provided).
- A keen interest in recruitment marketing, SaaS platforms, or related fields.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying connected with the team.
- Experience selling into organizations with a long procurement process is considered a bonus.

Salary:
We offer an excellent benefits package with a starting salary plus commission.
Job Type: Full-time, remote
Pay: $50,000 CAD per year, plus commission
