Overview

The Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service (AMPS) is a distinguished law enforcement agency dedicated to safeguarding and serving the vibrant Akwesasne Mohawk First Nation.

Revamping the AMPS’ employer brand began with collecting feedback through anonymous employee surveys that were sent to the entire organization. The content and insights collected from the surveys were used to develop written copy and messaging for the AMPS’ recruitment website, Indeed company page, as well as ad copy and social media content.

One of AMPS’ recruitment objectives is to attract candidates who are from and familiar with the area, as this local knowledge is a valuable asset in understanding the unique cultural dynamics, customs, and traditions of the Akwesasne Mohawk Community. With this in mind, it was critical that we collect images and video of AMPS officers to truly capture the essence of their unique service.

Nestled between Ontario and Quebec, and situated at the CAN-US international border, AMPS’ vast and distinctive jurisdiction offers exciting and challenging opportunities. Our team had the privilege of visiting their service to shadow their officers and photograph and film their team as part of the development of their Employer Brand.
